ENSURING FULL EMPLOYMENT OF GRADUATES OF TECHNICAL SPECIALTIES

Within the framework of the project “Personnel reserve of technical specialists”, a joint memorandum was signed at the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov between the Department of Education of Shymkent, JSC SEC “Shymkent”, UDN named after Academician A. Kuatbekov, the Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs of Shymkent, the Department of Employment and Social Protection of the city Shymkent.

In addition, in a solemn atmosphere, cooperation agreements were signed with enterprises located in industrial zones, with large enterprises of the city of Shymkent.

The rector of the university Rabiga Abdumusayevna Kuatbekova made a report on the achievements of the university. R.A. Kuatbekova noted that increasing the prestige of technical specialties is a direct order of the President. To date, there are two educational institutions in the region that meet these requirements. One of them is the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov. The university, having reached the level of a university of a new format of new Kazakhstan among private universities, within the framework of a new Development Strategy, built a new 7-storey dormitory with 280 seats, which it plans to put into operation on March 15; it is planned to build a modern nine-storey academic building and a two-storey research and production complex, the construction of which will begin in the current 2022. The implementation of the planned tasks will ultimately contribute to the formation of a new generation of intellectually developed students studying in technical specialties as future competitive, in-demand technical specialists.

In turn, the head of the city department of Employment and Social Protection Balmarzhan Narbekova noted that in the near future more than two thousand young people will be trained in technical specialties by foreign mentors and will be employed at enterprises equipped with modern advanced technologies.

Deputy Head of the city Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs Beksultan Adilkhanov provided information about the support provided by the state to youth and about the real work carried out in the metropolis in this direction.

The signing ceremony of the memorandum was also attended by representatives of enterprises located in industrial zones, heads of state colleges subordinate to the Department of Education of the city of Shymkent, representatives of large enterprises of the city of Shymkent, university graduates in technical specialties and media representatives.
