In honor of the 100th anniversary of the winner of the prize Mukhamedkhanov Kaiym Mukhamedhanov, a solemn evening was organized in the reading room of our library with 2nd year students and majoring in Philology and Singing. At the party were invited senior teachers of the University, activists of groups 1.3. The event was held at a very high level.

In 2000, the University of Friendship of the Peoples of Kazakhstan was founded. President and Founder of the University of New York (USA), Academician of the Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Pedagogical Psychology and the Academy of Natural Sciences, Academician of the International Academy of Arts, Laureate of the P. Kapitsa International Prize, Honorary Worker of Education, Chemistry Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Abdumus Muratovich Kuatbekov. Since the opening of the book fund of the library of the university, then the head of the library has filled in a lot of work and library staff Ablaeva Rose Ablaevna. With the support of the university administration, librarians provided cultural services to meet the needs of libraries in order to meet the demand of their readers in the learning process.
To reproduce the book fund, equipped with textbooks, monographs, scientific articles and electronic textbooks necessary for the educational process, a lot of activities are carried out. As a result of such events, starting in 2013, Kazakhstan was renamed the University of Engineering and Pedagogical Peoples, our university grew and flourished, the number of libraries and books was increased, the library fund was completely full, and new books, textbooks, electronic textbooks and educational complexes. All books and textbooks are listed in traditional catalogs: alphabetic, system and electronic.
The electronic catalog is carried out within the framework of the program “Irbis”.
Various scientific books are organized for literary evenings, conferences and even monthly evenings with the aim of increasing readers’ knowledge.
The general library consists of three reading rooms and an electronic reading room, four subscription sections. The library has 4 employees. From 2007 to 2016, the head of the library was Rysbayeva Gulmira Mamyrbekovna. Since 2017, the head of the library is Odmanova Ardak Rasievna.
In the book fund of the University of Engineering and Pedagogy of the Peoples of Friendship of Kazakhstan, students receive textbooks on their specialty. Reading rooms are equipped with computers equipped with Internet access, e-mail website. Students have the opportunity to receive free information from the Internet. The library has reference and bibliographic and informational work. In addition, Thomson Reuters has unlimited online access to an online database of electronic resources.

The library is a vast array of high intellects, wealth and qualifications, which was persistent in the long history of human history.
The world is known and recognized by the world, since the 21st century is a century of spirituality, culture and information. There is no doubt that modern readers widely use a civilized service, new technologies for library libraries, and the library is a necessary information center for today’s society. The main objective of the university library is to provide a complete set of information sources, universal documents and promote readers around the world, national cultural and spiritual values.
The main priorities of the university library are: improvement of library services, taking into account the interests and needs of readers; creation of a single information space; providing users with free access to information, knowledge and culture; organization of library services using new information technologies; allowing users to access the global information network.
The objectives of the library: to improve the reference-bibliographic and information services using traditional and innovative methods and forms of library work; ensuring replenishment and storage of the library fund; regular research of the demand of readers; Strengthening the material and technical base of the library.
Currently the library has 4 employees:

In 1992 she graduated from the Al-Farabi Shymkent Pedagogical Institute of Culture with a degree in Library Recognition and Bibliography. She is fluent in Kazakh and Russian. 2017 she passed advanced training of the State University. M. Auezov prepared information and technical bases of modern libraries to improve the Irbis program. • • Development of a general library management, collection of staff structure and work schedules;

– In 2014, he graduated from the M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State University with a degree in 5B011200 – Chemistry with honors.

-2014-2018 – Teacher of Chemistry, Head of Chemistry at State College # 16.

-2018-2020. Worked as a Chemistry Teacher, and Chemistry Leader at Avicenna Medical Multidisciplinary College.

– From January 20, 2020 he will be working at the Informational Educational Center of the University of Peoples’ Friendship named after A. Kuatbekov.

From 1976 to 1981 he graduated from the Al-Farabi Shymkent Pedagogical Institute of Culture, majoring in Library Science and Bibliography.

From 1965 to 1966 he worked as a librarian at the Central Library of the Military Town in Kaliningrad.

-1966-2018 worked as the head of department of the Turkestan regional scientific and technical library.

From January 27, 2020 works in the information and educational center of the Peoples’ Friendship University after A.Kuatbekov.
