The problem of drug use in adolescence is very acute today, which requires active measures from society and the state to resolve it and prevent it in a timely manner. Employees of the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the Department of Police of Shymkent held a preventive conversation with students of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov. During the conversation, the students were told quotes from the President’s address to the people of Kazakhstan on the prevention of the use and illegal sale of synthetic drugs, the consequences of their use, and legal liability for the illegal sale of drugs with the distribution of information and educational materials. The main objective of the conversation was to develop a negative attitude among students towards the use and distribution of drugs. At the end of the meeting, the students asked relevant questions on the topic and received timely answers to them.
