March 10, 2023 “Digital landing” of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov represented by Vice-Rector for Digitalization Yessenov M.K., Director of the Department for Digital Transformation and Technology Transfer Zhaksilikov A.A. and PhD, associate professor, Chief Researcher E-Tech Hub B.Ye. Zhakipbayev participated in the cybersecurity event, which provided a great opportunity to learn about the latest trends and best practices in the field of cybersecurity.
The event featured expert speakers aimed at helping attendees stay on top of the rapidly changing cybersecurity landscape. This event was a great opportunity to gain valuable insights, share your knowledge and experience, and connect with your industry peers.
Denis Rudy, head of the sales department, delivered a welcoming speech about Kaspersky.
Symphony XDR was presented by Raykhan Absalamova – Account Manager, B2B (Kaspersky Lab – Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Mongolia).
Andrey Gromov, Director of PlusMicro NS, presented Kaspersky Thin Client based on the Kaspersky OS operating system.
Egor Karushin, Head of the Sales Group of Ideco LLC, spoke in detail about the Ideco UTM Security Gateway as a modern perimeter protection.
Further, Business Development Director Nurgali Karabayev held with all the participants of the event (about 30 industry specialists from all Shymkent universities) an interactive presentation of Kaspersky ASAP “How to make every employee cyber-literate?”, after which PhD, associate professor, Chief Researcher E-Tech Hub B.Ye. Zhakipbayev took 3rd place and was awarded valuable prizes from the organizers.
