On January 31, 2024, Vice-Rector for Digitalization of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov Yessenov M.K. made a presentation at an online seminar on the topic: “Digital integration in higher education.” The organizers of the online seminar are Shymkent IT-Hub.
The seminar was attended by the regional representative of Astana Hub: Shymkent IT-Hub Aknur Praliyeva, teaching staff and IT-students of the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, employees of specialized lyceums and educational institutions of the city of Shymkent.
At an online seminar, Maksat Yessenov spoke about the importance of digital integration in higher education and, using the example of his work at the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A.Kuatbekov, showed the mechanisms of digital integration and transformation.
It should be noted that in order to strengthen the digital coordination of educational, scientific, strategic and educational activities at the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov, the Department of Digital Transformation and Technology Transfer is successfully functioning, which initiates and carries out work to optimize the university’s business processes using modern technologies , relying on government digitalization reforms. The Department of Digital Transformation and Technology Transfer is an IT hub between various structures of the university. The department successfully operates an E-Tech Hub (engineering and technology hub), which now accumulates ideas and conducts business activities to establish and strengthen contacts.
