Heads of the youth resource center of Shymkent together with first-year students of Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A.Kuatbekov discussed the most relevant topics from the Message of the President to the People of Kazakhstan. The main topic of the meeting was the question of the construction of nuclear power plants in Kazakhstan.
During the event, specialists and experts of the energy industry gave explanations to the students about the contribution of the NPP to the provision of energy security, its ecological and economic advantages for the state.
During the conversation, the organizer noted that the construction of the nuclear power plant opens up great opportunities for young people. In particular, tens of thousands of new highly qualified jobs with decent wages will be created. Kazakhstani university graduates have everything they need to take part in the construction of nuclear power plants and become workers in the domestic nuclear industry.
In the future, an appropriate state program for the development of atomic energy will be developed, where increased attention will be paid to special training of personnel taking into account the needs of nuclear power plants.
We remind you that the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed a referendum on the construction of the nuclear power plant on October 6, 2024 and signed a decree on its holding.
