“SCIENCE IS MY CHOICE.” THE III YOUTH SCIENTIFIC FORUM WAS HELD IN ASTANA

On January 21, 2023, the Youth Scientific Forum “III YRA Forum” was held, organized by the public association Young Researchers Alliance.

The event was attended by young scientists, top managers of various departments, including science and education, healthcare, industry, as well as entrepreneurs, well-known leaders of public opinion among young people in the fields of science and education, healthcare, as well as civil initiatives.

The forum was attended by Bibol Zhakipbayev – Ph.D., Associate Professor, member of the YRA, IT specialist of the Computer Technology Department of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A.Kuatbekov.

The work of the forum, which was held under the slogan “Science is My choice”, was opened by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek. In the TEDx format, he clearly and succinctly told young scientists about the ongoing reforms in the field of science in Kazakhstan, separately emphasizing the measures taken by the state to support young researchers and scientists.

Speakers who made presentations at the forum shared their own experience of success in scientific and innovative activities, as well as told about effective measures to stimulate research culture, create conditions for the development of interdisciplinary dialogue and ways to support young scientists in Kazakhstan.

In addition, the participants of the event discussed topics such as the formation of scientific research as a commercially successful project or product, the impact of human capital on the economy, agriculture, food and water security, life sciences and healthcare, artificial intelligence and big data.

It should be noted that the public association “Young Researchers Alliance” is a non–profit organization created by young scientists as a platform for interdisciplinary cooperation. The main goal of the Alliance is to create a single platform for establishing communication between young researchers, industry representatives, teaching staff, as well as students of Kazakhstani and foreign universities to promote close cooperation and subsequent development of proposals and projects that could contribute to the sustainable development of science and innovation in Kazakhstan.
