It is predicted that over one trillion dollars will be invested in this area in the world over the next few years. Successful development of this sector can provide significant GDP growth. If we fully use the capabilities of artificial intelligence, we will be able to make a qualitative leap towards the knowledge economy. It is necessary to establish cooperation with leading international companies and universities. The initiative to develop the Law “On Science and Technology Policy” should reflect the logic of economic development based on science and innovation. Effective measures are needed to support private initiatives to create innovation infrastructure – business incubators, engineering and technology hubs, commercialization centers, technology parks and design bureaus. Successful foreign experience should be used.
