October 12-13, 2023 digital officers of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov: Vice-Rector for Digitalization Yessenov M.K. and Chief Researcher E-Tech Hub PhD Zhakipbayev B.Ye. took part in Astana Digital Bridge 2023.
Digital Bridge is a traditional dialogue platform for discussing the digital agenda, new digital transformation strategies and trends in the field of digital technologies.
At the Digital Bridge, digital officers of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov had the opportunity to get acquainted with the best startups from Central Eurasia; saw the biggest battle of the year for the title of best startup; visited a robotics exhibition; got acquainted with the latest innovations and technologies at Pitching Zone Digital Bridge 2023 (a unique space for interaction between business representatives and IT startups); got acquainted with educational programs from the country’s leading private IT schools; learned about trends and innovations in the field of IT education.
As part of Astana Digital Bridge 2023, Vice-Rector for digitalization Yessenov M.K. and Chief Researcher E-Tech Hub PhD Zhakipbayev B.Ye. took an IT master class on digital transformation and launching StartUp projects from Astana IT University; and also held a seminar on the development of startup projects and the development of IT-Hubs and on the development of digital transformation of universities at Seifullin University.
In addition, Vice-Rector for Digitalization Maksat Yessenov and Chief Researcher of E-Tech Hub Bibol Zhakipbayev, within the framework of Astana Digital Bridge 2023, held a number of business meetings with regional representatives of Astana Hub: Shymkent IT Hub, Qyzylorda IT Hub, Turkistan IT Hub, Abai IT-Valley etc. During the meeting, a fundamental agreement and agreement was obtained on issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of digitalization.
