On December 7, 2023, the First International Forum of young scientists and students was held in Shymkent on the basis of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, with the support of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation.
The main goal of the Forum is to establish a platform for the exchange of scientific achievements of young scientists from around the world and discuss the most pressing issues. During the event, a plenary meeting of young scientists, sectional lectures in various areas of science, and familiarization with production bases were organized.
A delegation of young scientists from the Peoples’ Friendship University named after A.Kuatbekov, represented by Maksat Yessenov – vice-rector for digitalization and Bibol Zhakipbayev – chief researcher E-Tech Hub, PhD, associate professor, took an active part in the integration and collaboration of scientific research between foreign and domestic scientists.
The following events took place within the framework of the Forum:
- X International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Prospects for the Development of Biology, Medicine and Pharmacy”.
- The first international Olympiad in surgical disciplines
- Project competition
During the forum, attention was paid to strengthening interaction and mutually beneficial cooperation between young researchers. A discussion took place of the most relevant areas of modern research, as well as ways of their further development.
