On December 21, 2023, a working meeting between IT managers was held at the Peoples’ Friendship University named after A.Kuatbekov. Maksat Yessenov – Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Asilbek Zhaksilikov – Director of the Department of Digital Transformation and Technology Transfer and Bibol Zhakipbayev – PhD, Associate Professor, Chief Researcher E-Tech Hub met with Aziz Yesszhanov – Director of “Telse” https://telse.kz/ and Zhandos Sardarov – Director LLP «Information systems service center».
During the meeting, the guests were given a visual campus tour of the University, at the end of which they were pleasantly surprised and delighted by the material and technical equipment and the rapid pace of development of the IT-area. All this is thanks to the understanding and support of the University leadership.
On the agenda, agreements were reached on a number of joint events and pilot projects within the framework of IT-cooperation planned for 2024: «Аrtificial intelligence development fund», «Visioner talks», «Alaqan», and also outlined transnational collaborations to work with foreign IT-partners.
The meeting took place thanks to networking at the Creative Industry of Shymkent forum.
It should be noted that in 2024, the Peoples’ Friendship University named after A.Kuatbekov will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The technical opening of an IT–hub is planned.
