On February 10, 2023, at 10:40 a.m., a round table was held dedicated to the life and work of M. Makataev “Child of Ages” organized by Asilа Zhanbolatkyzy, Master of the Department of History and Social Sciences and Humanities of Kazakhstan, Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov. Guests attending the event:

The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with the life and work of Mukagali Makatayev, known as the “Black Bur” of Kazakh poetry, and to educate artists in respect for art. Many details from the life of Mukagali were given, and the students read memoirs and many poems related to the life of the poet. At the end of the evening, the head of the department and the teaching community shared their knowledge and entertained the youth with informative stories.
