April 7 is the International Health Day!

At the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov, an event dedicated to the Health Day was held for students and staff, organized by specialists of the Department of Physical Culture together with the youth department. Bioresonance diagnostics was performed by a BRT device with measurement of physical activity, height, weight, and blood pressure.

Currently, Health Day is celebrated annually on April 7 – the day of the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1948. Since that historic moment, almost two hundred countries of the world have become members of the World Health Organization (WHO).

Health Day is held so that people understand how important health is in their lives and decide what to do to improve the health of people around the world.

The main goal, enshrined in the WHO Charter: to improve the health of all peoples of the Earth:

* fight against infectious and non-communicable diseases;

* Development of the health system and activities of WHO member countries;

* training of specialist doctors;

* carrying out activities aimed at creating conditions for recreational activities on the streets of cities around the world, promoting a healthy lifestyle.
