On May 20, 2023, a working meeting was held between the chief digital officer of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A.Kuatbekov, Vice-Rector for Digitalization Yessenov M.K. with Doctor PhD, Director of the Department of Science and Innovation of Astana IT University Zhakiyev N.K.

Research and innovation centers EdTech, Industry 4.0, AgroTech, Smart City, “Big Data and Blockchain Technologies” and the FabLab prototyping laboratory have been opened at AITU, the purpose of which is to carry out scientific research together with Kazakhstani and foreign partners.
During the visit, an agreement was reached on issues of bilateral cooperation. Memorandums of cooperation are ready to be signed.
