From November 1 to November 4, 2023, the Academic Forum of Young Scientists from the Countries of Greater Eurasia “Continent of Science,” dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was held in Moscow at the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The academic forum is held in partnership with the CIS Executive Committee, the International Association of Academies of Sciences and in 2023 is timed to coincide with the chairmanship of the Russian Federation in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan selected 25 talented, authoritative young scientists representing Kazakhstan for the Academic Forum. Among the young scientists selected by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan was the chief researcher, PhD, associate professor B.Ye. Zhakipbayev, who presented the results of his research within the framework of thematic scientific sections. This year the forum consisted of 6 sections: artificial intelligence, physics, chemistry and materials science, biosafety, preserving heritage.

At the Academic Forum, young scientists made presentations at sectional sessions in various areas of science, talked with the best young scientists in their fields, got acquainted with innovative technologies and gained a lot of experience. The Forum participants were from near and far abroad: young scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Tajikistan, China, India, Iran, Mongolia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Serbia, Hungary, Ethiopia, Egypt, Syria and Cambodia.

Speakers at the opening ceremony of the Academic Forum were: Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation A.A. Fursenko, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences G.Ya. Krasnikov, Minister of Science and Higher Education V.N. Falkov, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan D.N. Bilyalov and etc.

The academic forum of young scientists from the countries of Greater Eurasia “Continent of Science” was eventful and useful. The event ended with a certificate presentation ceremony.

The Forum of Young Scientists from the Countries of Greater Eurasia is held by the Russian Academy of Sciences on an annual basis, providing a unique platform for communication between talented academic youth, establishing new professional contacts, exchanging experiences and exploring opportunities for joint research. All travel and accommodation expenses during the forum were financed by the Russian Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation.
