On December 8-9, 2023, the Festival of Innovative Ideas “Inno.Fest” Qyzylorda 2023 was held in Kyzylorda with the support of the akim of the Kyzylorda region.
«Inno.Fest» Qyzylorda – an event whose goal is to create projects in the IT field from idea to prototype within 24 hours in the areas of “SmartCity”, “Content & Design”, “Cinema & Video”.
The festival included participants from other regions of the republic and neighboring countries.
The main goal of the festival is to support new innovative ideas necessary for the development of the region, providing an opportunity to finance youth projects in IT areas, and releasing new names.
Every year, famous people who have achieved success in the IT, media and film industries are invited to the festival as speakers.

In the “Cinema & Video” section: actor, producer Akbolat Otebay; screenwriter of the Oner Kyrandary theater Abdusaid Tulegenov; director, TV presenter Dauletkhan Akaidaruly; Bibol Zhakipbayev – chief researcher E-Tech Hub, PhD, associate professor at the Peoples’ Friendship University named after A. Kuatbekov.
In the “SmartCity” section: founder of the company “Thousand IT” and the intellectual game “Aqyl Battle” Aibolat Kulatai; Director of the Astana Hub regional development office – Aida Dusova; commercial director of MSSP Global Batyrzhan Shakmanov; Maksat Yessenov is the vice-rector for digitalization at the Peoples’ Friendship University named after A. Kuatbekov.
In the “Content & Design” section: Director of the Qyzylorda TV channel of RTRK Kazakhstan JSC Nurbek Amisha; cybermodel and PR specialist Aiman Moldabekova; actor, blogger and streamer Azamat Tursynbay.
The prize fund of the festival is 3,000,000 tenge. The best participants were awarded educational grants from Astana IT University, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Bolashak University, Kyzylorda Open University, as well as valuable gifts from festival partners.

Within the framework of the festival, memorandums of cooperation were concluded between the Peoples’ Friendship University named after A. Kuatbekov and the Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata, as well as the Information Technology Center of the Akim’s Office of the Kyzylorda region in all areas of scientific, educational and digital activities.
As part of the festival, a delegation of young scientists from the Peoples’ Friendship University named after A. Kuatbekov, represented by Maksat Yessenov – Vice-Rector for Digitalization and Bibol Zhakipbayev – Chief Researcher of E-Tech Hub, PhD, Associate Professor, got acquainted with the activities of the new branch of the School of Engineering of Seoul National University of Science and Technology at Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata. Together with the SeoulTech Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the project “Creation of a new school of artificial intelligence and computer science and a business incubation center” was developed.
During the festival, attention was paid to strengthening interaction and mutually beneficial cooperation between young researchers and the IT community.
