Digital applicant-2023

Digitalization has a significant impact on online submission of documents to universities. In recent years, universities around the world have begun to move from the traditional process of submitting documents on paper to the electronic version, using various digital technologies.

With the coordinated work of the Department of Digital Transformation and Technology Transfer headed by the Chief Digital Officer, Vice-Rector for Digitalization  Yesenova M.K. and the Marketing and career guidance department of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician A.Kuatbekov have now established, systematized and ready to work the electronic system “Online submission of documents”, which will help to optimize and improve the education process. Since then, the mechanism of alternative enrollment in the university, online admission, digitalization of the university have reached a new level.

Admission online is a new step in the interaction between universities and applicants. It expands the opportunities for admission for a huge layer of people living far from the locations of universities.

Advantages of the electronic system “Online submission of documents” for applicants:

Convenience and Accessibility: Digitalization allows students to apply online from anywhere and at any time using a computer, smartphone or tablet. This simplifies the application process and reduces the need to visit the university in person.

Electronic forms and online applications: Instead of traditional paper forms, universities offer electronic forms and online applications that can be filled out and submitted online. This speeds up the filing process and avoids the loss of paper documents.

Electronic scans and copies of documents: Students can provide electronic scans and copies of documents, such as certificates, certificates and letters of recommendation, instead of the originals. This reduces the risk of losing documents and simplifies their storage and transfer.

Automated processing systems: Digitalization allows universities to use automated document processing systems.

The laborious but significant work of the employees of the Department of Digital Transformation and Technology Transfer is not a separate new entity, but part of the traditional university system, which “lives in numbers” and creates an appropriate digital environment focused on creating new opportunities for everyone. Ensuring comprehensive automation and digitalization of the university’s management processes is a top priority.
