Terricon Valley // IT-Hub Qaragandy

On May 26, 2023, the chief researcher of the E-Tech Hub of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after academician A. Kuatbekov, PhD, associate professor Zhakipbayev B.Ye. took part in the largest networking event among IT & digital specialists in Karaganda – the New Non-Conference for businessmen and developers.

The event was held in Terricon Valley – an ecosystem that promotes the development of IT and Digital. The event traditionally brought together all representatives of the Karaganda IT and digital community, as well as guests from other cities. The program of the event included performances by invited speakers and a general networking session. IT-hub Terricon Valley is a place where progressive people and everyone involved in the field of IT create something more together, work on their projects, make friends, communicate and collaborate. All educational activities of the Terricon Valley are held here.

This event was held free of charge with the support of the Department of Informatization, the provision of public services and archives of the Karaganda region. The main goal of the department is to lobby the interests of the Kazakhstani IT industry both within the country and abroad, as well as create favorable conditions for the development of the market as a whole.

The invited speakers talked about how to start and scale your business, how to build relationships with employees and shared useful process management tools.

There were four speakers in total. In the meantime, lectures from Founder a Labs Alisher Suyunzhanov and UX / UI, Product designer at Geometa Evgeny Anoshin were held in the development hall. Asem Berik, Head of PR and Marketing at QWANT Programming School, and Fatima Amantai, Project & Product Manager at Kwaaka, spoke at the Business Hall. The topic of Asem’s speech was dedicated to promotion for IT business and startups, where she shared methods for organizing research, auditing communication channels and studying brand objectives. She noted that the company needs a presence in the media space and gave a list of media and publications in which you can publish. Asem also offered several ideas for content on social networks. Then Fatima spoke with the topic “How to become a cool product manager”. The speaker spoke about her career as a Project manager, discussed the concept of a startup and its differences from business, the role of a Project manager in a startup, and shared a list of useful training programs.

In turn, Eugene spoke about the work of a UX designer and its benefits for the product. In particular, he analyzed each stage of product development and the skills that a UX designer can apply to develop a common cause. Evgeniy made out what tools should be used and what specialists it is important to interact with. The speaker also shared ways to improve the design process. Then Alisher spoke with a topic about the real benefits of No code, in which he revealed how the approach solves the problems of startups at the start, analyzed the advantages of the approach and the services that can be created with its help. He also cited several popular No code tools and examples of successful cases as examples.

A special part of each Non-Conference is networking, during which participants and speakers from both halls meet for communication and discussion. This allows you to expand not only your horizons, but also your own base of useful contacts.
